Clarence L. McNamar, 90, of Anadarko, Oklahoma was born December 9, 1931, in Mountain View, Oklahoma to Floyd and Thelma (Taylor) McNamar. He passed from this life on Saturday, October 15, 2022, in the comfort of a family home surrounded by loved ones. He attended school at Broxton, Oklahoma. He married Connie Annette Thomasson on June 14, 1952. They were married 43 years and made their home at Squaretop in Anadarko. He was later drafted to the US Army and served for almost two years. He worked for Bud Clift and Lonnie Wilkerson as a mechanic. He later worked for Western Farmers for over 25 years where he retired in 1993. His hobbies included camping and fishing as well as going with his boys to the racecar track.
He is survived by his three children: Ricky and wife Sheila McNamar of Anadarko, Connie Ward of Anadarko and Terry and wife Sindy of Apache. His grandchildren include Mistie McNamar and husband Latrel, Ricky Steven McNamar, Kendra and husband Arry Johnson, Keri Ward, Jason McNamar, Brandon McNamar, Tyler and wife Chalemah McNamar.
His great-grandchildren include Kayla Tate, Haleigh and husband Jamison Rice, Kiera McNamar, Justin, Bailei and Kristen McNamar, Jaylen Johnson and Bailey Munchel, Kaytlen Johnson and Tandra King, Markuss Wauahdooah, Shandice Pendarvis and Christian BraveHeart, Kristina Turner, Conner McNamar, Jameson Hill and Jase Zarza, and Osiris Maximis and Rosalei Bastet McNamar.
Great-great grandchildren include Jeremy Sankadota Jr. and AriBella BraveHeart.
In addition, he is survived by a sister-in-law, Mary Gray, and a multitude of nieces and nephews.
Clarence was proceeded in death by his parents Floyd and Thelma McNamar, his loving wife of 43 years Connie Annette McNamar, his sister Caroline Knepp, a life-long companion Betty Mullican, and his loving pet Sugar Britches.
