Clara Bell Swanda

Clara B. Swanda, 95, of Carnegie, OK, passed away Tuesday, May 10th, 2011 at the Carnegie Tri-County Municipal Hospital. Clara was born September 14th, 1915 to Alick and Nina (Unruh) Daubert in Billings, MT. She attended school in Kiowa County. She married Charley Swanda December 8, 1936 in Olton, TX and he preceded her in death October 17, 1970. She lived most of her life in Carnegie, OK. Clara was an excellent cook and enjoyed quilting as a hobby. She was also a member of the 52 Reviewers Club and Help Your Neighbor Club. She was a loving mother and grandmother.

Billy Sewell and wife Shonda, Oklahoma City, OK
David Sewell and fiance Camilla Carter, El Reno, OK
two great grandchildren:
Chaz and Chason Hurt, Carnegie, OK
many nieces and nephews
one brother-in-law:
Kenneth Goins, Carlsbad, NM


She was preceded in death by her parents, four brothers, John Daubert, Lewis Daubert, Walter Daubert, LeeRoy Daubert, four sisters, Mabel Autrey, Edna Hampton, Esther Permenter and Pearl Goins.

Funeral Service: 10:00am Saturday, May 14, 2011 at the First Baptist Church, Carnegie, OK
Burial will follow at the Carnegie Cemetery, Carnegie, OK
