Christine Smith, 88, of Carnegie, OK, passed away Monday, November 3rd, 2014 at the Carnegie Nursing Home in Carnegie. She was born October 14th, 1926 in Alfalfa, OK to Troy and Cora (Vance) Bennett. Christine graduated from Alfalfa School, Alfalfa, OK. She was united in marriage to Jack Smith, February 18, 1947 in Eakly, OK, who proceeded her in death February 28, 2013. Christine was very devoted to family and friends. She was always caring for others. Christine was known for making her peanut brittle. She was a faithful Christian, and a member of the First Baptist Church, Carnegie, OK.
Survivors include her daughter, Sherian Kerlin and husband, Charles, Oklahoma City, OK
one son, Randall Smith and wife, Carla, Potomac Falls, VA
three grandchildren, Matthew Smith, Potomac Falls, VA
Nathan Smith and wife, Margaret, Charlottesville, VA
Kimberly Kerlin, Yukon, OK
brother, W.B. Bennett and wife, Anna Belle, Alfalfa, OK
numerous nieces and nephews and cousins.
She was proceeded in death by her parents and husband.
