Chris Lee Ankney, 52, of Burns Flat, Oklahoma passed away Saturday, December 14, 2019. He was born on September 29, 1967 in Hobart, Oklahoma to Walter Elmer and Geraldine (Gerry) Ankney. Chris graduated from Roosevelt High School. He was a huge part of the Fire and EMS community for close to 25 years. He was instrumental in getting crews to the Murrah building and many other tragedies in Oklahoma, as well as being in the middle of leading crews. He was the Fire Chief at Clinton Sherman Fire station, paramedic, and a volunteer for Burns Flat. He will be missed greatly.

Chelsea Willoughby and husband Jakeb of Medicine Park, Oklahoma,
grandson Hunter Willoughby,
sisters: Nyla and husband Kenny Watson of Weatherford, Oklahoma,
Malynda Adams and husband Donald of Tuttle, Oklahoma,
sweet best friend, Nickie Wilson of Foss, Oklahoma,
and numerous nieces, nephews, and friends.
He is preceded in death by his parents and 1 brother Walter Sam Ankney.
