Cheri Ross Obituary Cheri Annette Ross, 62, passed away on December 5, 2024 in Carnegie, OK surrounded by family. Cheri was born in Guymon, OK to Patricia Ann Smith and Guy W. Ross Sr., on May 9, 1962. She attended Carnegie High School with the class of 1980, then attended Caddo Kiowa Technology Center in Fort Cobb, OK to earn her phlebotomy license. Cheri utilized her license as a phlebotomist at Exam 1 for many years. She also took pride in her years spent in the customer service industry including working at Circle B, a family-owned restaurant, as well as several others. Cheri's love for interior design also led to years working as a homemaker which brought her tremendous joy. Cheri's personality allowed her to make friends easily as she had the ability to make everyone laugh. Cheri was known for her free spirit, wit, and tendency to live on the edge by bending all the rules. She made everyone feel special by assigning nicknames. In her youth, Cheri was happiest tanning near the water. As she got older, she became an outstanding quilter, making quilts for several family members. Cheri always found joy in a long car ride around town with the music blaring. She was an avid book reader, particularly Mitch Albom. Nothing brought a bigger smile to Cheri's face than all of the babies in the family.
Cheri is preceded in death by her parents Patricia and Guy, and brother Mickey.
