Charlie L. Eskew, 85, long-time Mountain View resident passed away on Sunday, January 20th, 2013 in the Elkview General Hospital in Hobart, OK. He was born May 11, 1927 near Gotebo, OK to Dave and Nancy (Self) Eskew. Charlie attended Lake Valley School and served in the U. S. Army during World War II. He married Connie Krause on October 13th, 1951 and she preceded him in death on January 10th, 2000. Charlie lived in Washita and Kiowa counties all his life. He farmed many years and worked for Farm Bureau as a crop adjuster and tire adjuster. Charlie was an avid fisherman. He was a member of the First United Methodist Church of Mountain View.

Janeen McClure, Oklahoma City, IOK
four grandchildren: Tyler and Joli Babek and Meagan and Zachary McClure
one sister: Ella Hickerson and husband Bob, Moore, OK
one brother: Royce Eskew and wife Betty, Hobart, OK
He was preceded in death by his parents, wife Connie, son Ricky and two sisters,
Wanda Hamilton and Floyce Arganbright.

First United Methodist Church, Mountain View, OK
Burial will follow in Sharon Cemetery under the direction of Ray and Martha's Funeral Home of Mountain View.
