Charles Henry McFarland, "Pops," passed away July 31, 2020 at OU Medical Center in Edmond, OK.
Charles was born October 7, 1940 in Grundy, Tennessee to Elbert McFarland and Viola Brown. He was one of five children; a brother, J.B. McFarland, and three sisters Edith Walker, Francis Buck and Anne Pendeleton. He attended Mountain View-Gotebo High School and subsequently enlisted in the Navy. After the service, he worked for Clark Tractor and Equipment then later as a brick mason where one of his noteworthy contracts included Garth Brook's home. He enjoyed writing and singing songs, woodworking which included furniture building and carvings, and in his later years portrait painting. Charles was a very talented man.
Charles is survived by his wife Brenda McFarland of the home.

One Stepdaughter, Belinda Sears and husband Pete
Two Grandchildren, Gracie and Eli McFarland and numerous step and great grandchildren.
No services will be held per Charle's request.
