Chansy Bounthongla

Chansy Bounthongla, 67, of Hobart, Oklahoma, passed away on January 28, 2023 in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma. He was born on March 2, 1955 in Laos, South East Asia. Chansy worked in manufacturing for over 40 years in Hobart and Altus. He enjoyed fishing, hunting, raising chickens, gardening, hanging out with close friends, and eating well. Chansy loved being with his grandchildren who kept him active and busy after retirement. He was known as "Pa" and "Grandpa" - two names that he lived up to very well. He will be dearly missed by all who knew and loved him.


Survivors include his children,
John Bounthongla and his wife, Jessica, of Gotebo, Oklahoma; Brian Bounthongla, of Dallas, Texas; and his three grandchildren Kenzli New, Nova Lee Bounthongla and Ryatt Steele Bounthongla, of Gotebo, Oklahoma.


He was preceded in death by his mother and father in Laos.
