Delbert Durham, 82, of Hobart, OK passed away on Wednesday, November 17th, 2010, in Oklahoma City. He was born on October 29th, 1928 in Willow, OK to Cecil and Crystal (Russell) Durham. He graduated from Plainview High School in Plainview, OK and attended Southwestern State University at Weatherford, OK. Delbert taught school several years in Oklahoma and two years in California. He also farmed in the Plainview area. He worked for the Oklahoma Department of Corrections in Granite and retired in 1990. He audited prisoner records across the state. Delbert was on numerous boards in Greer County. He married Janie Fleming in 1954 and to that union was born 4 children. Delbert married Fern Speights on August 9, 1994 in Melbourne, FL and they moved to Hobart in 1995. He and Fern traveled extensively. He loved to read and travel. He was a Past Master of the Willow Masonic Lodge and a 32nd degree Mason. Delbert attended the United Methodist Church of Hobart.
