Cathrine A. Black

Cathrine A. Black, 84, passed away February 18, 2019 in Hobart, Oklahoma. She was born on March 13, 1934 to William "Frank" and Velva Ada (Walker) Black in rural Cloud Chief, Oklahoma. Cathrine was a "Jack of All Trades", she was almost always working with her hands. She enjoyed basketball and art as a young woman. Cathrine loved being outdoors. She was a member of the Alden Women's Club.

She is survived by her siblings: Iona Betche of Hobart, Oklahoma
Rosalee Cowsert of Blanchard, Oklahoma
Lavern and Laquita Black of Oklahoma City, Oklahoma
Lillian and Melvin Unruh of Enid, Oklahoma
Myrtle Dyer of Irving, Texas
Roommate Faye Barger at Hobart Nursing Home,
And numerous nieces, nephews, and friends.

She was preceded in death by her parents Frank & Ada (Walker) Black, brothers: Junior Black of Loveland, Colorado, and Eston Black of Carnegie, Oklahoma, and sister Mary Lois Nicholson of Albuquerque, New Mexico.
