Carolyn Maude Williams passed away Friday, May 12, 2017 in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma. Carolyn was born March 17, 1938 in Old Hickory, Tennessee to Lake Ulysses and Cora Estelle Crance Ward.
Carolyn married Ray Williams October 31, 1970 in Las Vegas, Nevada. They moved to Carnegie, Oklahoma in November of 1970 and purchased the salvage yard on November 20, 1970. Carolyn helped Ray at the Salvage business as his secretary. Carolyn grew up in Los Angeles, California. She enjoyed traveling and had been to every state with the exception of Hawaii. Carolyn was an active member of the Carnegie Nazarene Church and enjoyed her church family.
Carolyn is survived by her spouse, Ray, of the home in Carnegie.
Son: Joe Nelson & his wife DeeAnne of Edmond, Oklahoma
Daughters: Rachel Williams of Pell City, Alabama and Annette Nelson of Santa Clarita, California
Son: Orval Williams & wife Kelly of Carnegie, Oklahoma
Son: Sherman Williams & wife Terrie of Oklahoma City, Oklahoma
Grandsons: Joseph Nelson, Teddy Hammond, Raymond Williams, Eddie Williams, Lance Williams, David Hong, and Robert Hong.
Granddaughters: Rebekka Lucas, Reagan Williams, & Jordan Nelson
Great Grandchildren and a host of relatives and friends.
Carolyn was preceded in death by her parents and daughter Elizabeth Banks.
Memorial service for Carolyn will be Wednesday, May 17, 2017 at the Church of the Nazarene in Carnegie, Oklahoma.
