Carolyn Sue Schmidt

Carolyn "Sue" Birch Schmidt gained her heavenly wings on September 12, 2023. She was born on December 11, 1942 to Archibald Harl Birch and Imogene Campbell-Stephenson Birch in Anadarko, OK.
Sue graduated from Verden High School, Verden, OK in 1960. That same year she married Verlin Ray Schmidt in Chickasha, OK.
Early on, Sue worked alongside her husband in their butcher shop. Later on, she went to cosmetology school and became a men's hair stylist, She first worked out of The Clipper Ship in Chickasha, OK but then she opened her own shop, Shear Dimensions in Anadarko, OK and then was later joined by her brother Gerald, also a barber. Sue also held various positions working for the Wichita Tribe.
Sue was survived by one sister, Thedis V. Mitchell of Weatherford, OK; Four sons and One daughter ; Lonnie Ray Schmidt of Oklahoma City, OK; Teresa Lynn Stockard of Anadarko, OK; Gary Don Schmidt of Anadarko, OK ; Dustin Wayne Schmidt of Anadarko, OK; Alan Harl Schmidt of Anadarko, OK; and a multitude of GrandChildren, Great GrandChildren, nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
She was preceded in death by; Both of her parents; Her husband; One son, David Lynn Mason of Jones, OK, Two brothers, Ronnie Birch and Gerald Birch both of Anadarko, OK; One son in law and Two granddaughters Chasity Stockard and Jessica Stockard all of Anadarko, OK.
