Carol Lynne (Halpin) Barbee, 72, of Yukon, Oklahoma went to be with her Lord and Savior on Saturday, December 19th, 2020. She passed away at Mercy Hospital in Oklahoma City after a brief illness.
She was born on January 11th, 1948 to the late Arthur John and Melba Lee (Condren) Halpin in Ada, OK. She married the late Troy Lee Barbee on December 23, 1970 in Wichita Falls, Texas. They had one Son, Troy Lee (T.L.) Barbee II, on February 3rd, 1977.
Carol lived in Anadarko for most of her life. She loved hummingbirds and while living in her home in Anadarko she would keep them well fed. She graciously maintained the multitude of feeders around the outside of her home to keep them coming back year after year. If you were looking for a gift to give her you could always get something with hummingbirds on it and she would love it.
She lived the last 10 years of her life at Heritage Assisted Living where she loved working on puzzles, playing bingo, painting, coloring, as well as cheering for the Oklahoma Sooners and Oklahoma City Thunder.
Carol is preceded in death by her parents Melba Lee Halpin and Arthur John Halpin; her husband Troy Lee Barbee; and two brothers, Lee Hadley Halpin and James Arthur Halpin.
She is survived by:
