Carl Wayne Witt 81, of Fort Cobb, OK, passed away in Lawton, OK on Thursday, August 18, 2022. He was born in Scott east of Binger, OK on August 1, 1941 to Orie and Gladys (Anderson) Witt.
Carl graduated from Oney Public Schools in 1959. He joined the Air Force and retired after 20 years. Carl was a Master Sergeant and traveled the world while in the service. Carl served in Japan and several states in the United States. He was also a Vietnam Veteran. When he retired from the Air Force he was 1st Sergeant of a missile squadron in Montana. Carl also retired from Tinker Air Force, OKC, OK. He married Sandra LaPar and they had 3 sons together, Darold, Darin and Donald. Sandra passed away December 22, 1997,
Carl Witt then meets his loving companion, La Verna Clary and they traveled the United States vacationing, camping, fishing and enjoying life.
He was preceded by his: parents, Orie and Gladys Witt; wife Sandra Witt: sons, Darin Witt and Donald Witt; grandsons, Kyle Witt and Rod Bland; and granddaughter, Misty Clary; niece: Robin Witt.
