Cameron Ray Williams

Cameron Ray Williams, 30, of Anadarko, was born in Carnegie, Ok on January 16, 1984 to Beth Anne Bohay and Michael Earl Williams and passed away on May 24, 2014 with his long time companion Lura Mai Smith. He was a member of the Kiowa Tribe of Oklahoma and baptized at Cedar Creek United Methodist Church in Carnegie, Ok. He was a direct descendant of Ahpeahtone, Lonewolf and Set'tain'te. He was a proud member of the Kiowa Gourd Clan. He attended Anadarko Public Schools all his life and graduated from Anadarko High School in 2002. He was a National Merit Scholar and named in Who's Who Of American High School Students three years in a row. He was a member of Choir and Thespians. He was a National Leadership Award Winner and invited to attend the National Youth Leadership Forum on Defense, Intelligence and Diplomacy in Washington, DC. He achieved his Third degree Black belt in Martial Arts. He attended the Institute of American Indian Arts in Santa Fe, New Mexico and Caddo Kiowa Technology Center where he received certificates for Interactive media, video editing and production, Business, and Computers. He was a Wal-Mart Deli Sales Associate at Anadarko for six years and was currently the night manager at Anadarko Braum's. He was an artist, musician and a member of three musical groups; lead singer for the band N-Dinz, acoustic duo 7ate 9, and Dodgetown Underground.
He is survived by his parents Beth and Ricky Gooday, of Carnegie; a daughter, Penelope Autumn Williams, a son, Omar James Williams, two step-daughters, Lillian Rain and Ila Kiya-Jean Vaughn, all of the home; two sisters, Ragan Lee Traughber, of Carnegie, and Robin Gooday, of Anadarko; three brothers, Ricky Allen Gooday and wife Kara of Gracemont, Michael Gene Gooday, of Stecker, Bill Everet Bohay, Carnegie OK; nieces Michelle Horse, Iris Beth Traughber-Hill, Alysia Vasquez and Tenaya Lonewolf, nephews Drew Vasquez, D.K. Lonewolf, Jr; his grandfathers Ray Doyah, Ronald Twohatchet, Phil Dupoint, Ernest Toppah; his grandmothers Glenda Redbird, Karen Kaulaity, Juanita Ahtone, Dorothy De Laune and Vernola Hainta; aunts Linda Kay Williams, Dawn Toyekoyah, Phyllis Hunter, Debra Bohay, Dina Gooday; uncles Daniel Williams, Bennett Daugomah, Steve Bohay. Cousins Terrell James Horse, Daniel James Williams, Corbett Jones, Lucretia Kay Jones. His adoptive fathers William Jake-eye Ahtone, Ronald Sage, Wraydell Beartrack and Joseph Gragg, Sr. Adoptive mothers Regina K. Kenieutubbe, Lynda DeLaune. Adoptive Sisters Teresa Kaulaity and Winona Willis; numerous cousins, nieces and nephews.
Cameron was preceded in death by his father, paternal grandparents Ralph Cameron Williams and Naomi; his paternal great-grandmother Lucy Ahpeahtone; his maternal grandparents Phil Ragan and Mamie Daugomah Bohay; Uncles Alvin Ray Williams, Thomas Wayne Bohay, Sr., Russell Bohay, Phil Ragan Bohay, Jr.; aunt Brenda Bohay; cousins Matthew Toyekoyah, Lena Jean Bohay and Jeffrey Tenequer.

Wake Service: 7:00p.m., Friday, May 30th Funeral Service: 11:00a.m., Saturday, May 31st
Burial: Cedar Creek Cemetery, Carnegie, OK
Both services will be held at Cedar Creek United Methodist Church, Carnegie, OK
under the direction of Ray & Martha's Funeral Home, Carnegie
