Calvin Leon Lawley

Calvin Leon Lawley, 86, of Sentinel, Oklahoma passed away peacefully with his family by side on January 13, 2023 at the Cordell Christian Home in Cordell, Oklahoma. He was born on June 25, 1936 to Archie & Viola (Smith) Lawley in Sentinel, Oklahoma. Calvin grew up and attended school in Port, graduating from Port High School in 1956. He married Sandra Wheeler in 1962, to this union was born one daughter, Carol. During his working life, Calvin worked as a FireFighter for the Clinton Sherman Air Force Base, he worked at the Sentinel Butane Company, and he retired from Washita County. Calvin also enjoyed working as a Horseshoer. He will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved him.

Great Grandchildren: Lakyn Looper, Lexyn Looper, Brasen Walker, and Lainey Walker
Brother: Johnny Lawley & wife Vicki, Moore, OK
Sister: Betty Carroll & husband Jim, Davenport, FL
Nieces: Vicki Peck and Connie Rogers

Preceded in death by his Parents: Archie & Viola Lawley; Brother: Ray Lawley; and Sister: Lilly Evans
