Bobby Dale Garrison, 57, passed away on July 27, 2016 at Comanche Hospital in Lawton, Oklahoma. He was born on June 3rd, 1959, in Hobart, Oklahoma to Esther (McCormick) McGolden and Glenn Garrison. He attended school in Mountain Park and graduated from Hobart in 1976. In highschool, Bobby earned the nickname "Batman" since his car looked just like the batmobile. He practiced karate in highschool and would carry his nunchucks with him everywhere. He went on to work in the oilfield for many years. He enjoyed baseball, fishing, mountain climbing, and collecting knives.
He is survived by his mother, Esther and step-father John McGolden, son, Jared Garrison and three granddaughters: Jaelynn Garrison, Jenna Garrison, and Jay Lee Garrison, Companion Nita of Altus, Oklahoma, Sisters; Kletta Garrison, Pam Garrison and family, and Jerri Ynguanzo and family. Brothers; Rodney Garrison and family, Ray McCullough, Roger Garrison and family, and Jimmy Pitts and family, Uncle Virgil Beatty, and numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins.
His is preceded in death by his father Glenn Garrison, nephew Dallan Welch, paternal grandparents Homer and Josephine Garrison, maternal grandparents Charlie and Virgie Wisdom, step-grandparents Mervin and Flora McGolden, Aunt Glenda Garrison Beatty, Uncle Aubrey Rod Garrison, Gloyd and Bessie Garrison, and several aunts and uncles.
A viewing for Bobby is set for 9:00 a.m. - 5:00 p.m., Saturday, July 30, 2016, at Ray & Martha's Funeral Chapel in Hobart, Oklahoma. Cremation is to follow.
