Bobbie Jean (Russell) Swift, 79, of Anadarko left this earth and returned to her Heavenly home on Oct. 18, 2020 at Emerald Rehab in Midwest City. She was born July 20, 1941 in Anadarko to the union of Fred L. and Jessie May (Martin) Russell.
She was raised by her paternal grandparents, Harrison and Mary Russell, who provided some of her
happiest moments at our family home.
Bobbie began her education at Lincoln School and was amongst the first students to integrate to Anadarko Public School system, achieving a graduate
diploma.
She later married Ronald L. Swift. They are survived by their two daughters, Paula and Toni (Jessie Walker) Swift.
In her early years, Bobbie was employed by Maremont in Chickasha, retiring after 20 years.
Later in life she became a certified PCA with local company Reach Out, Inc., where she remained
part-time until her passing.
Affectionately known as "Aunt Boo." she was entirely devoted as a daughter, sister, mother, grandmother, aunt and friend. She was a constant staple in our community and never knew a stranger.
Bobbie was an avid reader of mystery novels, watching Turner Classic movies, going to powwows and the Indian Exposition, shopping and conversing often with humor and humility.
She was preceded in death by a brother, Robert Ross; a sister, Dessie Long, and a grandson, LauRentez Walker.
She leaves behind to cherish and celebrate life her two daughters; two brothers, Fred Russell Jr. and Tyrone Fuller; her very special grandchildren, Synphanie Swift, Teddy Galbreath, Jermaine (Sami) Moore, Jhavarr (Shannon) Swift, Austin Walker and LauRenta Walker; her adored great-grandchildren, Brooklyn Swift, Jaylen Swift, Noah Swift and Remini Walker and a host of loving family and dear friends.
