Bobbie Joyce Pate, 69, of Rocky, Oklahoma, passed away on June 7th, 2022, at the OU Medical Center in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma. She was born on February 17th, 1953, to Joe and Opal (Williams) Kohler in Clayton, New Mexico.
Bobbie grew up in Kenton and attended school, graduating from Boise City High School in Oklahoma. She met Curt Pate and they were united in marriage on December 17, 1976, in Boise City. They had two children: Nicole and CJ. Bobbie attended the Oklahoma Panhandle State University and graduated in 1977. Bobbie then attended West Texas A&M, received her Master's Degree, attended Southwestern Oklahoma State University, and earned another Master's Degree. Bobbie received her Doctorate Degree from California Coast University. She loved teaching and taught school for 42 years. Bobbie enjoyed gardening, flowers, and horses. She was a member of the Church of Christ in Hobart, Oklahoma. Bobbie will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved her.

Brother: Kenny Kohler & wife Carol, Aztec, NM
Aunt: Gladys Padgett of Claremore, OK
Host of other nieces, nephews, and other family members and friends.
Preceded in death by her parents, Joe and Opal, and sisters: Betty Jo Kane and Emma Jean Summers.
