Blake Horton

Blake Horton, 47,of Carnegie OK, passed away Monday, April 13, 2015, at his home. He was born December 19, 1967, in Carnegie, OK, to Ralph and Jan (Pitcher) Horton. He graduated from Carnegie High School in 1986. Blake later joined the United States Marines where he served in the Persian Gulf during Desert Storm. He was united in marriage to Lori Coon on December 19, 1992. To this union was born a daughter, Kendi Blake Horton.

one brother, Shane Horton of Carnegie, OK
one sister, Whitney Hattier and husband Ryan of Springdale, AR
parents, Danny and Jan Doster of Carnegie, OK
two nephews, Skylar Horton of Weatherford, OK
Hayden Hattier of Springdale, AR
one niece, Hannah Hattier of Springdale, AR
aunts Marsha Dean and husband Bill, of Katy, TX
Rhonda Cook and husband Mike of Alva, OK
uncle Fred Horton and wife Jan of Oklahoma City, OK
numerous cousins and friends.

He was preceded in death by his father, Ralph Horton, grandparents, Edwin and Vivian Horton,of Carnegie and Clyde E. (Barney)and Roberta Pitcher of Carnegie and one aunt, Shelly Thomas.


Funeral Services: 10:00 a.m. Thursday April 16, 2015 at the United Methodist Church in Carnegie, OK

Officiating will be Rev. Kristi Smith
Rev. Arthur Blount
Burial will be at the Carnegie Cemetery under the direction of Ray & Martha's Funeral Home in Carnegie, OK
