Billy Ray Robbins

June 28, 1932 — February 11, 2013

Bill Robbins, 80, long time Hobart resident, passed away on Monday, February 11th, 2013, at his home. He was born June 28, 1932 to John Bush and Florence (Scott) Robbins. Bill married Deloise Jean Garrison on January 27, 1955 in Hobart, OK and she preceded him in death on July 13, 2002. Bill enjoyed spending time with his family. He loved fishing, going metal detecting, driving his Jeep and being outdoors working in his yard. Bill was a member of the Washington Street Baptist Church. He worked with the City of Hobart 23 years and was self employed in the hay hauling business until his retirement. He served with the U. S. Army during the Korean Conflict.

two daughters: Stacy Hollis and husband Jimmy, Hobart, OK
Felicia Robbins, Hobart, OK
ten grandchildren, numerous great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren.

two sisters: Bessie Collmer, Hobart, OK
Mary Kuntz, Hobart, OK

He is preceded in death by his parents, wife Jean Robbins, son, Bobby Robbins, three sisters, Elsie Robbins, Carolyn Joslin, Pat Hill and three brothers, Jake Robbins, Carl Robbins and Hack Robbins.


The family will be greeting friends from 6:30 to 8 p.m. on Wednesday night at Ray & Martha's Chapel.

Funeral Services: 10:30 a.m., Thursday, February 14, 2013
Washington Street Baptist Church, Hobart, OK
Officiating: Rev. Chris Block, pastor

Burial will follow in the Hobart Rose Cemetery under the direction of Ray & Martha's Funeral Home,
Hobart, OK
