Billy Duane Davis

Billy Duane Davis was born on January 10, 1947, in Hobart, Oklahoma to William Dee Davis and Oneda Moss Davis and made his heavenly journey home on Wednesday, April 3, 2019, in Anadarko at the age of 72 years, 83 days. Billy passed away from a short battle with cancer, he was surrounded by his loving friends.

He is survived by a biological brother, Kenny Davis of Hobart, Oklahoma, a sister, Rosemary of California, family by choice: Mark Britten, Marvin Blizard, Robert Julian, Derby Drbousek, Linda Gonzales, Patsy Barrett and Mary Stout.

Billy grew up in Hobart, Oklahoma then moved to Pauls Valley where he lived and attended school at SORC (Southern Oklahoma Resource Center). After he graduated from high school he went to Atoka where in lived in New Horizon's nursing home for twenty years. He moved to Chickasha where he worked at Western Sizzlin Restaurant for many years. He eventually moved to Anadarko where he made his home and his life. He worked at The Soda Fountain Eatery, Mazzio's and Sonic. Billy retired from Sonic in 2013.

He met the love of his life, Mary Bolt, in 2015. He asked her to marry him on Christmas Day of 2015, but she passed away from a heart attack in early January 2016. Billy loved to go fishing, visiting with his friends and riding his bicycle around town.

He wanted his Apex family to know that he loved them very much, especially his friends Barbara Jones and Ashley Hannigan.
