Chickasha-Beverly Lavida Cozad passed away October 8, 2016 at her home on Chickasha, OK. Beverly was born November 8, 1954 in Lawton to Everett Cozad Sr. & Olynthia Pipestem Cozad.
Beverly attended school at Indiahoma. She was a very proud & loving Ma-Maw to her grandchildren & great grandchildren. She was a big Dallas Cowboys, Thunder & OU fan, she enjoyed quilting, watching movies, spending time with her family and taking care of her beloved fury child Jack-Jack.
Beverly is survived by her children, Melisa Reney "Missy" Cozad Hight & husband Ira of Anadarko, OK;
Lorraine "Kay Kay" McCurtain & companion Jerry of Lawton, OK; William Ray "Bebop" Cozad Sr. & companion Sunny Large of Lawton, OK; Charles Roan Horse "Charlie Bug" Poolaw of Chickasha, OK; and one very loved fury child Jack-Jack.
Grandchildren Austin Keen, Ira Hamilton, Hattie Louise & Hannah Lorraine Hight of Anadarko, OK; Nakoda Cueller, Ava Rose & Abbi-Gayle Reyes of Lawton, OK; William Ray "Billy" Cozad, Jr. of Sterling, OK and Daisy Lee (Cozad) Sovo and husband Ahtakee of Sterling, OK; Julius William Ray &Reagan Lorraine Cozad of Chickasha, OK; Christian Attockonnie of Lawton, OK; Randy Cozad & companion Missy; Seneca Cozad & Companion Kevin; Amber Cozad & companion Jason; and Shaundae Cozad of Anadarko, OK.

Siblings Johnny Cozad, Adrian Cozad, Everett Cozad Jr., Steve Chibitty and Michael Whitecloud. Sisters carol Eunice (Cozad) Kodaseet & Olivia Price. Special Nieces Dawn Cozad, Christy Cozad,Carolyn Lopez, Karen Cozad, Shana Cozad, Anastatsia Cozad and Charli Longhat. Special Nephews: Jeffrey Kodaseet, Patrick Kodaseet, Samuel Cozad.
She was prededed in death by her parents; Paternal Grandparents Louis Balow & Eunice Tanedooah Cozad; Maternal Grandparents Frank & Lula Pipestem; and a Special Big Sister DelphineShemaymee Vasquez.
Pallbearers will be Austin Hight, Ira Hight, Nakoda Reyes, Billy Cozad, Nick Vasquez, Randy Cozad & Daniel Cozad.
Funeral services for Beverly will be held at 10:00am Saturday, October 15, 2016 at J.J. Methvin United Methodist Church in Anadarko.
Interment will be at Memory Lane Cemetery of Anadarko, OK.
Meal to follow at J.J. Methvin United Methodist Church
