Bettye Jo Harrison

March 6, 1930 — January 26, 2016

Bettye (McCarty) Harrison, was born on a farm North of Apache, on March 6, 1930, to Delbert and Julia (Taylor) McCarty and went to meet her Savior on Tuesday, January 26, 2016, in Hobart, Oklahoma. She started school in a rural, one room school house and finished her school days at Apache High School. Although she didn't graduate with her class she went back to school and got her G.E.D. at age 65. She accepted the Lord as her Savior at 18 years of age and taught an adult Sunday School class for many years. Bettye, Steve, and Dee Ann married Cloyd Harrison and his two sons Alfred and Cotton on November 9, 1960, and had been married 43 years at Cloyd's death in 2003. Bettye loved God, her country, her children, grandchildren, great and great-great grandchildren, also her Pastor Lynn Richardson and her church family.

Brandy David and husband Michael, Elk City, OK

Scott Hazle and wife Tiffany, Roosevelt, OK
Rusell Gee and wife Chelsea, Blanchard, OK

Funeral Services: 2:00 p.m., Friday, January 29 , 2016
Pentecostal Holiness Church, Mountain View, OK
Burial will follow at Fairview Cemetery, Apache, OK, under the direction Ray & Martha's Funeral Home, Mountain View, OK
