Betty Ruth Watson

Betty R. Watson, 83, Mountain View, OK , died Friday, April 8th, 2011 at Grady Memorial Hospital, Chickasha, OK. She was born August 11, 1927 in Mountain View, OK to Jack and Bessie (Smith) Johnson. Betty married Marlin Watson in 1945 and he preceded her in death in 1988. She and Marlin moved to Oklahoma City from Mountain View in 1952. Betty moved back to Mountain View in 1997.
She then married Vernon Pendleton in 2001 and he preceded her in death in 2010. She had worked many years as a secretary for the Department of Human Services in Oklahoma City, OK. Betty was a member of the Church of Christ, Mountain View.

Arla Bingamon and husband, Raymond, Mountain View, OK
Sister-in-law: Rosie Johnson, Midwest City, OK

She was preceded in death by her husbands, Marlin Watson and Vernon Pendleton, a son and his wife, Jack and Patsy Watson and a brother, Walter Dee Johnson





Graveside service: 1:00 p.m., Monday, April 11, 2011 at the Mountain View Cemetery, Mountain View, OK, under the direction of Ray and Martha's Funeral Home, Mountain View, OK. Scott Smith, officiating.
