Betty A Ward

Betty A. Ward, 86, of Elk City, Oklahoma passed away peacefully at home with her family by her side on August 12th, 2020. She was born on April 30th, 1934 to Glenn and Bernice (McCann) Schulz in Butler, Oklahoma. Betty grew up, attended school, and graduated in Port, Oklahoma. She worked in the accounting department for Charter Oil company. Betty was married to Clayton Ward on May 1st, 1955 in Retrop, Oklahoma. They lived in Houston for 37 years, they moved back to the family farm in Sentinel, Oklahoma and lived there for 10 years before moving to Elk City, OK in 2002. Betty was a member of the country club, she enjoyed playing golf and spending time with her husband and friends. She will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved her.
