Betty Ammy Scott, 79, of Cordell, Oklahoma passed away peacefully with family by her side on February 10th, 2019. She was born on September 22nd, 1939 to Thomas Luther and Ammy (Wagaman) Ellis in Dill City. Betty grew up and attended school in Cordell, graduating from Cordell High School in 1957. She worked as a Housekeeper for Motel 41 in Cordell, Oklahoma. She was a hard worker and considered a sweet lady. Betty had a huge compassion for animals especially dogs and had several throughout the years. She loved her family, especially her grandchildren, they were the joy of her life. She had a life long relationship with the Lord, and had great love for him. Betty loved her church family and enjoyed attending events and outings with them. She loved to read, watch television and most of all attend church. Betty was a member of the New Beginning Assembly of God in Cordell, Oklahoma. She will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved her.

Niece: Sue (Frank) Davis of Seneca, MO
Numerous other family members and friends.

Preceded in death by her Son: James Scott, Parents: Thomas Luther and Ammy Lance (Wagaman) Ellis, Sister: Elva Clark and 3 Brothers: Alonzo Burch, Norval Burch & Melvin Burch
