Betty Olmstead

Betty Olmstead, 80, went to be with her lord on May 30, 2023, at Cordell Memorial Hospital, surrounded by her family. Betty was born on September 9, 1942, in Mulhall, Oklahoma, to Charles and Melissa (Starnbrough) Oldenburg. Betty grew up in Mulhall, Oklahoma and attended school in Guthrie graduating in 1960. She married the love of her life, Gene, on September 14, 1962, in Guthrie, OK. Together they had two children, Steven and Renee. Betty loved her family. There was nothing she enjoyed more than spending time with her family. She also enjoyed cooking, reading books, and crocheting. She will be dearly missed by all who knew and loved her.

Betty is survived by her husband, Gene Olmstead, Cordell, OK
Son: Steve Olmstead and wife, Susan of Hinton, Oklahoma.

She is preceded in death by her parents: Charles and Melissa Oldenburg, and Daughter Renee Olmstead Florer.
