Betty G Holsted

July 31, 1930 — February 1, 2019

On July 31, 1930, an angel on earth was born the second of four children belonging to Otha and Trella (Satterfield) James. God gave her such a special, caring, and loving heart. Betty Gene James was a person that cared for everyone she met.

On July 31, 1954 she married James T. (JT) Holsted, Jr. and they made their home in Mountain View for the rest of their lives. To this union was born a daughter Patricia Gayle (Holsted) Bateman.

Miss Betty was not afraid of work and spent her entire life helping her family and friends.

She is survived by her daughter Patricia Bateman,
Brother: Roy James of Talihina, OK,
A younger sister Fay Rene Johnson of Clayton, OK,
And a younger very special brother, Felbert James & wife Peggy of Clayton, OK, Betty and Felbert had a very special unbreakable bond as brother and sister.

She is also survived by nieces and nephews: Paulette, Brenda, Chris and Lisa, Curtis, John, Matt, Jeanene, Chad and Haegan, Natalie, Logan, Phyllis, Israel, Debbie, Stevie, Joshua, Mica, Will and Darla, and Terry and several great nieces and nephews.

She is also survived by Honorary family Lynn and Bobbie Richardson, Bobbie Lynn and Jimmy and Rowdy and Carrisa. Honorary son Bryan Clark and family, Leah, Dillan, Emory, Chloe, Ryder and Jaxson, and special friend John Edward Mace and Rick Davis.

She was preceded in death by her husband, JT, and her parents and grandparents and very loyal and true friends Lanell Mace, Lenita Flinn, and Jewel Davis

Casual dress is encouraged for the services.
