Betty Jean Dawson

Betty Jean Dawson, 77, long-time resident of Hobart, Oklahoma passed away October 21, 2018. She was born July 1, 1941 in Hobart, Oklahoma to Elmer and Mae Wisdom. She spent her entire life in Hobart, Oklahoma. She married Charles Dawson in Hobart on July 17, 1957. She loved quilting and being a housewife. Most of all, she loved being with her grandchildren.

She is preceded in death by her parents and two brothers: Charles Wisdom and Donald Ray Wisdom, and sister Wanda Lee Wisdom.

She is survived by her husband Thomas Charles Dawson of the home,
3 children: Jacky Neal Dawson of Alvarado, Texas,
Thomas Gene Dawson of Hobart, Oklahoma,
Charles Wayne Dawson of Hobart, Oklahoma,
9 granchildren: Kristie Ganaway, Joey Dawson, Kandi Challis, Melanie Ellis, Kyler Dawson, Kassi Wise,
Jacob Dawson, Logan Dawson, and Colton Dawson,
7 great-grandchildren, 1 brother-in-law: Burl Wisdom of South Carolina,
and many other relatives and friends.
