Berlin Barnes, 79, Hobart, passed away on Saturday, March 14, 2015, in Hobart, Oklahoma. He was born in Hobart, Oklahoma to Shannon Allie and Burton Henry (Wisdom) Barnes, on March 28, 1935.Berlin married Janet Faye Wright on October 7, 1956, in Hobart, Oklahoma. Berlin was a self-made man through several and varied vocations. He began his career serving in the 45th Infantry Division of the National Guard and driving a bread truck. He later transitioned his occupation to drive-in restaurants, harvesting cotton, tool boxes, auto sales, and even raised parakeets. He enjoyed racing go-carts and stock cars, especially when he won. Berlin was a man who wore many hats. He never met a stranger. He loved being the center of attention and telling stories, especially at the local cafe. Although he was a busy man he always made time for his family. He loved nothing more than spending time with his brothers, wife, children, and grandchildren.
