Benjamin Wayne Kaulaity (Ben), devoted father, uncle and grandfather, made his journey to Heaven July 3rd, 2024, where he reunited with his loving family after having lived a rich life, blessed with many grandkids and family who all loved him dearly. Ben was born on October 10, 1970 to the late Lorene (Purdy) and Thurman Lee Kaulaity at the Lawton Indian hospital. From then on, he would be raised along with his loving Brother (Stacy Kaulaity), and Sister (Faith Kaulaity), many cousins and friends, on Indian Road in Carnegie, OK. When Ben reached high school, he became an athlete competing in Track, Weight Lifting and Football. Benjamin graduated high school in Carnegie, OK in 1988. Afterwards, he enrolled at the Caddo-Kiowa Vocational Technical School in Fort Cobb, OK where he accomplished his certification in the Graphic Arts. He then took his certificate, enrolled at OSU/Okmulgee Technical Branch in Okmulgee, OK and began working on an Associate's Degree when he met the mother of his three Children. Missing his family, Ben moved his kids to Carnegie, OK, where he would go to work at Hollitex in Anadarko, until an opportunity arose in Lawton. Moving to Lawton, Benjamin began work at T&S printing and continued his employment there until the shop closed down in 2014. Ben moved back to Carnegie with his children and began learning a new trade in concrete working with his nephew Allen Kaulaity, who he became close to along with his nephews and late cousins Tim and Ronnie Kaulaity. Ben was a Sooner fanatic and proud member of The Kiowa Tribe. He had many talents and skills including: painting, drawing, mechanic (cars & small engines), concrete and having a great sense of humor and a good taste in music. Ben's hobbies were watching OU Football, listening to his music, attending his grandkid's ball games, and spending time with his family. Benjamin was a fast learner and a very hard working man, he always provided for his family and they never went without. He was a kind and generous soul and never asked for anything in return.
Benjamin W. Kaulaity is survived by his Brother, Stacy Lee Kaulaity of Biloxi, MS, Sister, Faith Kaulaity of Clinton, OK, oldest Son, Will of Lawton, OK one and only Daughter, Kyra Kaulaity and her four Children (Jordyn, Isaiah, Kylah, and Neketa) of Carnegie, OK and youngest son Kyle of Carnegie, OK. He leaves behind numerous Nieces, Nephews, Cousins, Aunts, Uncles and friends, whom he loved dearly. He will be missed and will forever be in our hearts.
Benjamin W. Kaulaity was preceded in death by his Mom Lorene(Purdy) Kaulaity, Dad Thurman Kaulaity, Paternal grandparents: Alice (Ware) and Henry Kaulaity, and Maternal grandparents: Jennie Tahbone and Newton Purdy.
