Benetta Estelle Cervantes

Benetta Estelle Reeder, 57, earned her heavenly wings on April 3, 2021 1:08 pm in Chickasha, OK. She was born in Lawton, Ok to Charles and Lavera (Swift) Reeder on June 19, 1963. She had 5 brothers and 4 sisters.
She grew up in Gracemont, OK. Benetta attended Anadarko Public School and Concho Indian school. She graduated from Riverside Indian School in 1981 and excelled in track. In which she earned many medals. She was also a member of the Pep Club and Indian Club.
She cherished her family as a child. Benetta's family worked at Indian City with her mother and father and brothers and sisters cooking fry bread for all of the many tourists through the summer months.
Benetta was a member of the Tulsa Indian Club and in 1982 she was proud to be selected Princess at the age of 19. She is a Proud member of the Wichita Tribe and was a princess in 1978. She took part with her mother, brothers, and sisters in all of the Native gatherings, not only in Oklahoma but throughout the nation. She began dancing at the age of 10 and her brothers and sisters were also dancers. She is also a proud descendant of the Great Wichita Leader, Tawakoni Jim.
She also loved her savior Jesus Christ and was a lifelong member of the Indian Nations Ministries Church in Anadarko, Oklahoma.
She is preceded in death by her parents, Charles and Lavera Reeder; also two special aunties, Novalene Holder and Armalene Horsecheif; Brothers, Buster Reeder and Virgil Swift; Sisters, Jeannie Whiteshield Fowler and Kathleen Reeder; Maternal grandparents Frank and Eunice Campbell Swift; Great-Grandparents, Major and Nellie Brown Campbell, Charlie and Leo Curruth Swift.
Survived by her: Son, Silas James Reeder and companion Destinee Cotter, Anadarko, OK
Daughters: Miranda Hawks & Companion Santana Owings, Anadarko, OK
Tracy and husband, Jeremy Mathews, Chickasha, OK
Brothers; James Reeder, Roger Reeder, Jimmy Reeder
Sisters; Carol Yater, Lucinda Reeder-Domebo
Grandchildren: Precious Angel Reeder, Xavieriyonna Norwood, Marques Vasques, Heaven Lee Owings, Ja'Michael Reeder, DeJay Mathews, Brody Mathews, Jaxon Mathews, Brynlee Mathews

She also had 4 special individuals that she had taken in as sons, Michael Thomas Bringinggood, Charles Pau-Kune, Davin Nuchols and Derick Thompson
She will be loved and missed by all they knew her.
