Belva Fay Shook

Belva Fay Shook was born on May 8, 1932 in Spring Creek, OK to John Chastain and Helen Demeer. She passed away on September 6, 2018 in Anadarko, Oklahoma.

Belva was known for her civil service in the town of Gracemont. She was very involved and loved helping out with town events such as the Gracemont Rodeo and the 4th of July celebration as well as church events. She loved to sing. She was one of the happiest and sweetest ladies you would ever meet. She always had a smile on her face. Belva was a member of the Gracemont Assembly of God.

Dustan Shook and wife Jenifer of Gracemont, Oklahoma
Brandon Shook and wife Ceres of Gracemont, Oklahoma
Ryan Stevens and wife Michelle of Gracemont, OK
Radley Stevens of Gracemont, Oklahoma
Granddaughters: Stacy Haumpy and husband Alf of Princeton, Texas
Tracy Barnett and husband Brad of Milburn, Oklahoma
24 great-grandkids, 6 great-great-grandkids, numerous nieces and nephews,
She is also survived by her best friend Jane Brownin.

She is preceded in death by her parents John and Helen Chastain, her husband, Henry Shook, son, Gary Shook, daughter, Rita Stevens and a brother, Leonard Chastain.

Funeral service will be at 2:00 p.m., Monday, September 10, 2018 at the Gracemont Assembly of God officiated by Pastor Junior Jenkins. Interment will follow at Spring Creek Cemetery North of Gracemont, Oklahoma.

Her services are under the direction of Ray & Martha's Funeral Home of Anadarko.
