Belle Marie Anderson

Belle Marie Anderson, 103, of Anadarko, Oklahoma, passed away

peacefully on March 16, 2025, in Chickasha, Oklahoma. She was born on

February 14, 1922, to Willie and Eva Mae (WhiteTurkey) Sarcoxie in

Bartlesville, Oklahoma.

Belle grew up and attended school at Limestone Schools in Bartlesville,

Oklahoma. It was here she met and married Verneal (Andy) Ray Anderson

in September of 1941. To this union was born one daughter, Anita Jo. Belle as very active in the Anadarko community serving on the Anadarko

Hospital Board and the Chamber of Commerce. Many knew her from her

time with CR Anthony's where she served as the Office Manager and

Manager of the store.

Her family were her main focus and she loved spending time with them

going out to eat, planning holidays and dog sitting. Belle especially loved

spending time with her great-grandson. She loved that her family extended

across the state and over many generations. Her absence will be deeply

felt by all who knew and loved her.

Daughter: Anita Houston & husband Kenneth, Anadarko, OK

Grandson: Mike Henderson & wife Molly, Collierville, TN

Great Grandson: Jacob Michael Henderson, Collierville, TN

Also survived by nieces, nephews, cousins and friends

In lieu of flowers the family requests donations be made to the local animal shelter. In addition, the family requests that no food be brought to the residence.
