Barton Winford Baker

Barton W. Baker, 90, of Hobart, Oklahoma passed away peacefully on August 20th, 2019 at Woodland Gardens in Hobart, Oklahoma. He was born on October 23, 1928 to Ernest A. and Helen Z. (Kelly) Baker in Gotebo, Oklahoma. Barton grew up and attended school in Gotebo graduating high school in 1946. He met the love of his life Wanda, she preceded him in death on November 30, 2004, and they were married on May 28, 1949 in Vernon, Texas. Barton owned and operated Hobart Ready Mix for over forty years. Barton later met Nina Hopson, and they married in 2008. He was a very strong christian man, he was a member of the Washington Street Baptist Church and served as a Deacon. Barton will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved him.
