Barney Ray Williams passed away on Thursday, November 10, 2016 at his home in Chickasha, Oklahoma. Barney was born August 20, 1956 in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma to Don and Joan Lasley Williams.
Barney attended school in Eakly, Oklahoma graduating with the Class of 1974. He attended college at Southeastern State College in Poteau, Oklahoma on a basketball scholarship. Barney could have gone to college on a baseball scholarship also as he was an excellent baseball player but he chose basketball.
Barney was a Truck Driver and drove for Garrett Trucking and Frac Tech Trucking.
Barney married Paula Barger on May 11, 2006 in Chickasha, Oklahoma.
Barney is survived by his wife Paula of the home in Chickasha, Oklahoma.
Two daughters: Wendy Williams Albert and her husband Dustin of Philadelphia, Pennsylvania.
Hannah Williams of Bridgecreek, Oklahoma.
Three grandchildren: Felix Augustus Albert, Roman Elias Albert, and Kaelyn Raeann Palmer.
Mother: Joan Williams of Eakly, Oklahoma
One sister: LaDonna Kay Chambless of Eakly, Oklahoma
Numerous nieces, nephews, family, and friends.
Barney was preceded in death by his father Don Williams and one nephew Brady Stocking.
Graveside services for Barney Williams will be Monday, November 14, 2016 at 10:30 AM at the Poage
Cemetery, Colony, Oklahoma.
Visitation: Saturday, November 12, 2016 9:00 AM-8:00 PM at Ray & Martha's Funeral Home, Carnegie, Oklahoma.
Sunday, November 13, 2016 1:00 PM - 8:00 PM at Ray & Martha's Funeral Home, Carnegie, Oklahoma.
