Barbara Louise Kelting

BARBARA HUDSON KELTING, 69 of Lubbock and a former Hobart, OK
Resident entered into heaven on January 21, 2012 in Lubbock, Texas. Barbara
was born on November 21, 1943 in Oklahoma City, Ok to Stanley and Juanita
(Davis) Soard. Barbara married Glenn Hugh Hudson, Jr on December 22, 1961
And moved to Lubbock, Texas. Glenn and Barbara were the proud parents of
four children. Glenn entered heaven on November 14, 1991. Barbara married
Harland Kelting on June 2, 1994, he preceded her in death on April 17, 2009.

Barbara was diagnosed with ALS "Lou Gehrig's" disease on January 2010 in which
she was a true inspiration to all who knew her and came to know her, Barbara always
had a smile and enjoyed each day with no disappointment having been the chosen one
to battle this disease.

Survivors include 2 daughters:
Catherine Thomason and husband Terry of Lubbock, Tx.
Kelly Madden of Lubbock, Texas
2 sons: Robert Hudson and Phaedra of Lubbock,Tx.
Matthew Hudson and Brandi of Tahoka, Tx.
1 step-son, Joe Kelting and wife Dia, Portales, NM
Grandchildren: Kelsey and Keaton Madden
Brooke Hudson
Hobie Kelting

2 sisters-in-law, Joy Beth Soard, Loyce Bilbrey
2 brothers-in-law, Bill Lampkin, James Hudson


Barbara was preceded in death by parents, Stanley and Juanita Soard,
brother Kenneth Soard and sister Pat Soard Lampkin.
Husbands Glenn Hugh Hudson, Jr and Harland Kelting as well as
her father-in-law and mother-in-law, Glenn and Catherine Hudson, and Oliver "aka" BoBo her Maltese.


The family will greet friends 6-7:00 p.m., Wednesday, January 25, 2012 at Ray and Martha's Funeral Home in Hobart.

Ray and Martha's Funeral Chapel, Hobart, OK
Officiating: Denver McGuire

Burial will follow in the Hobart Rose Cemetery under the direction of Ray & Martha's Funeral Home of Hobart.
