Arvella Mae Moran was born on May 14, 1927 in Retrop, Oklahoma and passed away on May 17, 2024 in Cordell, Oklahoma. Arvella was born to Clarence and Ethel Taylor. Arvella was the valedictorian of her class, and graduated from Retrop High School in 1946. After graduating, Arvella married the love of her life, Tink Moran on July 10, 1948. From this union they had three children: Debbie, Gregory, and Gary. Arvella had several jobs throughout her career, from Cable Com, to Moran Auto as a bookkeeper, and even worked for the Election Board. Arvella also cared deeply for her community, which is shown by her volunteer efforts at the Blood Mobile and Hobart Elementary. Arvella was an active member of the Church of Christ, where she continued volunteering at VBS and bringing many meals to funeral services. Arvella touched many through her multiple volunteer endeavors. Her loss will be felt by those she has touched with her kindness, and she will be missed greatly by all who knew and loved her.
