Arthur Unap

Arthur Unap, Jr., 74, of Carnegie, OK passed away April 10th, 2013 at the Carnegie Tri-County Municipal Hospital. Arthur was born to Arthur and Trecil (Poolaw) Unap Sr., August 14th, 1938 in Lawton, OK. Arthur attended Carnegie School and also Riverside Indian School. He served in the United States Marine Corp, 1957-1961. He was united in marriage to Emma Lee Aitson, July 22, 1960 at Cedar Creek United Methodist Church in Carnegie, OK. Arthur was a member of the Kiowa Tribe of Oklahoma and also a member of Cedar Creek United Methodist Church.

Preceded in death by his parents, brothers; Alfred, David, Robert Unap and Amos Goodfox. Paternal grandparents, Tennyson Unap and Lizzie Bigbow, maternal grandparents, Kiowa George Poolaw and Tsomaugh.

Funeral Service: 11:00a.m., Saturday, April 13, 2013 at the First Baptist Church,120 W. Main, Carnegie, OK
Burial will follow at Cedar Creek Cemetery
under the direction of Ray & Martha's Funeral Home, Carnegie, OK
