She was born January 20, 1919 in Elk City, Oklahoma to Robert and Leona (Mabra) McCown. Ardella McCown attended school at Butler, OK, Antandale, OK and Beauty College in OKC, OK. She owned 2 beauty shops and did hair for many years. She then went in the medical field where she got her CNA and worked for 30 years in the OB ward at the Grady Memorial Hospital. Ardella's enjoyments were bowling, sewing, and gardening.
She is survived by 1 brother: Raymond McCown of Norman, OK
1 sister: Bonnie Lee McCown Rogers of Anadarko, OK
And many nieces and nephews.
She is preceded in death by: her mother and father Robert and Leona McCown and 1 sister Eva Lorene McCown Dewey.
