Anna Bea Coats, 93, passed away Saturday October 27, 2018 in Derby, Kansas. She was born September 8, 1925 north of Carnegie, OK to William Homer and Anna Belle (Lindsay) Evans. Anna Bea married Drennon Eugene Coats in 1950 at Oakdale Missionary Baptist Church and he preceded her in death in l984. They moved to California where she and her husband owned and operated grocery stores. They moved to Carnegie, OK in l964 then to Oklahoma City in 1971. She was a member of the Cumberland Presbyterian Church, Oklahoma City, OK.

Survivors include her:
Daughter: Sharon Sandra Schmidt, Derby, KS
Son: Gregory Eugene Coats and wife, Donna, St. Louis, MO
4 grandsons: Mark E. Schmidt, Kyle Lee Schmidt, Brian E. Coats and Adam M. Coats.
Great grandson: Bryson Schmidt
Great-grandson: Bentley Schmidt
Great-granddaughter: Layla Coats
Great-granddaughter: Julia Coats

She was preceded in death by her husband and 4 brothers and wives:
Mr. Mrs. Dean Evans and Mr. & Mrs. Howard Evans, Mr. & Mrs. Leon Evans, and an infant brother, Harold. Son-in-law Marvin Schmidt.
