Aneta Jo Erickson

Aneta Jo (Luttrell) Erickson was born to Virga and Willie Mae Luttrell on 08/27/1943 in Carnegie. She was the youngest of seven children. After moving to California, she graduated from Santa Monica High School in 1961. Aneta went to be with her husband, Tom, on Valentine's Day, February 14, 2024.

When her parents returned from California, Aneta attended nursing school and graduated with her LPN degree. Later, she attended classes at Redlands Community College but was unable to complete the RN program as she quit nursing school to take care of her elderly mother.

She worked at various medical facilities including the Anadarko Hospital, the Carnegie Hospital, and the Hinton Nursing Home.

Aneta married the love of her life, Thomas Erickson, in Randlett Park, Anadarko on June 1, 1974. Although they never had children of their own, she loved babies and treated her nieces and nephews and greats as her own.

Aneta was an avid quilter and made many beautiful quilts.

She was preceded in death by her: parents, her husband; brother Ray & wife, Mary Kathryn Luttrell; sisters: Velma & husband, Adolph (Bud) Monard, Dora Lou & husband Bill Holman, Veronica Sloan & husband, Bob Sloan, O'Dene Mills.

Aunt: Ruth Riffe, Cushing, OK
Sisters-in-law: Beverly & husband, Paul Friesen, Hinton, OK, Marcia & husband, Mike Perry , Bossier City, LA, Marilyn & husband, Dan Allison, Los Cruces, NM
As well as many nieces, nephews and great nieces and nephews and cousins.
