Andrew Jerome Brown

Jerry "A. J." Brown, 65 of Roosevelt, OK passed away on Monday, January 31st, 2011 in Roosevelt. He was born September 10, 1945 in Hobart, Oklahoma to Francis Andrew and Viola (Brooks) Brown. Jerry graduated from Roosevelt High School in 1963 and also graduated from Okmulgee Vo-Tech. He served with the Navy Seabees in Vietnam. Jerry worked for Plains Pipeline Company for 42 years and lived in Elk City many years, moving to Roosevelt one year ago. He married Laura Huffman in May 1964. Then he married Loretta Pittman May 1995 and she preceded him in death in May 2006. Jerry was a member of the First Baptist Church in Roosevelt. He also farmed in the Roosevelt area for many years.

Brandon Wheeler, Elk City, OK


He was preceded in death by his parents, nephew Granger Lance Lanig and sister Francis Brown.


Family will greet friends at the Ray & Martha's Funeral Home, 6 - 7:30 p.m., Friday, February 4th.
