Alvin Lyndon Brummell

Alvin Lyndon Brummell, 83, passed away on June 5, 2024, surrounded by his loving family. He was born to Cecil & Flora (Vance) Brummell, on August 26, 1940, in Gracemont, OK. He was the eldest of 5 children and was raised with his brothers and sisters on their family farm. He attended school in Gracemont, graduating in 1959. He met the love of his life, Gayle Hacker, and they married on May 25, 1963, in Minco, OK. Together they made their home on a farm outside of Minco where they were blessed with 3 children: Shelley, Brent, and Brian. There was nothing Alvin enjoyed more than being a husband, father, and Papa. He provided for his family by working as a service technician at Sears for 37 years. However, his true love was farming. Alvin was a farmer for virtually his entire life and the pastoral view of their farm from the living room window is beautiful. He was a faithful and active member of Spring Creek Baptist Church for the majority of his life and was a Deacon there for 53 years. He will be dearly missed by all who knew and loved him.
