Alma Florene Clanahan, 89, of Carrizo Springs, Texas passed away at her home on November 24th, 2021. She was born on December 6th, 1931 to Loyd Randal and Sylvia Pearl (Morgan) Harris in Cushing, Oklahoma. Florene grew up and attended school in Cushing and graduated from Norfolk High School. Florene was employed at the Woolworth Department Store at the soda fountain. She met Dudley L. Clanahan, a friend of her brothers at the Altus Air Force Base. They were united in marriage on August 16, 1956 in Altus, Oklahoma, to this union were born two children: Katrina and Steven. Florene loved to bake cakes, and operated her own cake business from home. She was also an avid seamstress. Later in life, Florene attended Real Estate School. She loved spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren. Florene will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved her.
