Alison Chaddlesone, 42, passed away on June 8, 2024, in Norman, OK. She was born on August 4, 1981, to Sherman & Adeline (Goodman) Chaddlesone, in Newport, WA. Alison graduated from Anadarko Highschool in 1999. One of her very first jobs was working for The Appex Assisted Living Group Home, as a live-in care-taker. She attended Haskell Indian Nations University, in Lawrence, KS but transferred to the Institute of American Indian Arts in Santa Fe, NM shortly after. Upon returning to Oklahoma she continued her studies in Information Technologies. She was busy for some time reconfiguring computer systems and data entry. She also worked as a tax-preparer for a few years. She was a proud member of The Kiowa Tribe. She served as Chief Satanta (White Bear) Descendants from '96-'98. During this time, she was traveling to powwows across Turtle Island. She was also very proud of her involvement during The Kiowa Blacklegging Ceremonials every year. Traveling was one of her favorite activities as she spent some time in NYC, Seattle and L.A. but she always returned to her beloved little hometown of Anadarko. She made many friends and many call her family. She will be dearly missed by all who knew and loved her.
