Alice (Haxton) Weber, 93, Gotebo, OK, passed away Thursday, August 2, 2012 at St. Anthony Hospital in Oklahoma City, OK. She was born March 21, 1919 in Gotebo, OK to Glen and Vena (Stewart) Haxton. Alice graduated from Lake Valley High School in 1937. She married Benjamin Franklin Weber at Lawton, OK on December 7, 1943. To this union was born one son, Bobby Weber. Alice was a member of First Baptist Church at Gotebo, OK, chairmen of the Kitchen Committee for 20 years, and helped with bible school for many years. She was saved in a tent revival at Salem Baptist Church and baptized in the First Baptist Church at Gotebo, OK. Alice lived in and around Gotebo, OK all of her life. She enjoyed cooking for her family and friends. Growing up and in her adult life, she worked on the farm. She helped feed the cattle and broke ice in the winter. She raised a garden and did a lot of canning. Alice loved her family and friends and was a very giving and loving person.

She was preceded in death by
her parents, Glen and Vena Haxton,
husband, Bennie Weber,
two brothers,
Leo and Charles Haxton and wife Eva May,
two sisters,
Mary Haxton
Anna Bowlin and husband Sy,
and one daughter-in-law,
Loyce Weber.
Alice was a very unique
and special person.
Visitation: Sunday, August 5th, 2012 from 6-7 p.m. at Ray & Martha's Funeral Home, Hobart, OK.
Funeral Service: 10:00 a.m., Monday, August 6, 2012 at the First Baptist Church, Gotebo, OK.
Burial to follow in the Gotebo Cemetery, Gotebo, OK under the direction of
