Albert McNeill, 77, passed away May 22, 2016 in Altus, Oklahoma. He was born September 25, 1938 in Snyder, Oklahoma, to Omer and Mattie McNeill. He grew up in various places in Oklahoma; Dibble, around Snyder, and in Cold Springs. He was a part of the National Guard before later joining the Navy.
Albert eventually married and had four children. He spent several years in Bay St. Louis, Mississippi, before returning to Roosevelt, Oklahoma, when his health started to decline. He worked many years in the ship yards in security. He later spent his time doing handy man work, he was a great carpenter. He liked to skate and he enjoyed fishing and hunting. He was a member of the Jehovah Witness Church in Hobart, Oklahoma.
Albert was preceded in death by his parents Omer and Mattie McNeill, and sister Betty McNeill.
He is survived by one son Scott McNeill of Pryor, Oklahoma
three daughters; Aline McNeill of Killgore, Texas,
Lucinda McNeill of Wagoner, Oklahoma,
Colleen Weimer of Pamona, California,
one grandson, Ian Weimer of Pamona, California,
two brothers; Sam McNeill of Roosevelt, Oklahoma,
Doug McNeill and wife Doris of Vici, Oklahoma,
two sisters; Eve Cox of Dallas, Texas,
June Lewis and husband Eddie of Headrick, Oklahoma,
and many nieces, nephews, great-nieces, and great-nephews.
