Albert "Wayne" Wunderlich

April 5, 1936 — January 19, 2023

Wayne "Woody" Wunderlich
He was born to Fred and Myrt in the house on the farm on April 5, 1936. He graduated from Gracemont in 1954. In May of 1961 he married the love of his life, Jayne Ogle of Anadarko. Soon after the other loves of his life were born, daughters 1 & 2, Dana and Deb.
After graduation he attended college at Oklahoma A&M (Oklahoma State University) and studied Animal Husbandry. He enlisted in the Army and served for 2 years while stationed in Germany. He worked at Gold Kist Peanut Mill for many years but decided that farming and raising cattle was his passion.
Over the years he held many titles such as little league coach, basketball referee, and saddle bronc rider. He worked on a dude ranch in Colorado for a short time and he was an active member of the Gracemont Methodist Church his entire life.
He could often be found in the stands cheering on his girls, then his grandkids, then his great grandkids. He was their biggest fan and never missed a game. He could be heard yelling "Oh! Oh! Medic!" at even the slightest of injuries. He managed to never get ejected from a ballgame but came close many times.
Chances are you passed him several times while he was driving the country roads and streets of Gracemont. He'd pull you over and roll his window down so he could be nosey and give you a hard time. One of his favorites hangouts was the Family Diner. He loved to sip his morning coffee and ask more nosey questions.
He will be missed beyond measure by his surviving family: His wife Jayne of 61 years, daughters Dana Fulmer of Gracemont, Deb Lankford and Kyle of Newcastle, grandchildren Kali Fry and Sean of Newcastle, Cade Fulmer and Mandy of Gracemont, Kaci Head and Jared of Apache, Koby Lankford of Newcastle, great-grandchildren Crosby Fry, Maya, Curtis Gray, Presley Fulmer, Carlie Fulmer, Sawyer Fulmer, Jacoby Head, and Karson Head, nephew Stan Jennings and niece Gloria Jennings and family.
Preceded in death by his: parents, Fred and Myrt Wunderlich; sister, Wilda Jennings and husband Foy; nephew, Steve Jennings; in-laws, Ryffe and Norma Ogle; son in law Randy Fulmer.
